RARE BREEDS SHOW SUCCESS

THE sun shone on the Singleton Show for Rare and Traditional breeds which proved to be a gem of a day with more than 4,500 visitors.

There was a good turnout of exhibitors who travelled through appalling weather and road conditions from the Midlands, Home Counties and the South East of England. All the udges remarked on the good quality stock presented. The widest range of different rare breeds of sheep and pigs ever seen in this area was presented this year.

The Supreme Interbreed Cattle Champion was a superb British White Bull, Bridge Homestead Maraca owned by Mr and Mrs Scotcher from Pulborough.
