Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare urgently seeks pet foster carers

PetLink is Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare’s outreach pet fostering project for families fleeing domestic abuse, across Kent and Sussex.

Every year, thousands of men, women and children are affected by domestic abuse and for many families leaving these violent situations there are very few options available to them regarding their pets.

PetLink aims to ease this pressure by placing these much loved family pets into temporary foster care.

PetLink is currently running at an all time high, in terms of the amount of client referrals it is receiving, so is urgently looking for additional volunteer pet foster carers in Sussex.

If you are interested in helping this worthwhile project by temporarily fostering a cat and/or dog please go to our website http://www.raystede.org/how-to-help/foster-a-pet and download an application form.

Alternatively if you would like further information about the project please call the Project Manager on 01825 880478 or email petfostering@raystede.org
