Former England, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspurs star Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock will be among the special guests at a Christmas charity ball.
The former footballer will join scores of guests at Azur on St Leonards seafront on December 5.
Organised by Odeon Cinema in Hastings, the glittering event will be raising funds for the Variety Club Children’s Charity.
The ball will have a James Bond Casino Royale theme with a black tie dress code.
There will be live entertainment on the night with two singers, casino tables, balloon raffle, charity auction and disco.
Jonathan Mendenhall will be the master of ceremonies on the evening.
The event will be supported by Brett McLean, chairman of the East Sussex branch of the Federation of Small Businesses.
There will also be a three- course Christmas carvery.
Tickets are on sale priced £40.
Tables are available for eight, 10 and 12 people.
The Variety Club will provide sensory equipment and wheelchairs to those children in need.
Last year the charity provided 125 wheelchairs and 63 Sunshine coaches.
Each year it take tens of thousands of children on days out through its Variety at Work Programme.
It also funds children’s hospitals and hospices.
It also provides specialist in-home medical equipment for sick children and anxious parents.
Youth clubs are also given more facilities to attract new members with the aim of keeping youngsters off the streets and out of trouble.
