Readathon at Bexhill High

BEXHILL High School staged a Readathon for Year 7 students, encouraging them to read 15 minutes a day.

The youngsters were sponsored for each page they read during the four days, and all proceeds have been donated to national charities that support people who have leukaemia or blood disorders.

There were also visits to Bexhill Library and the Book Festival at the De La Warr Pavilion, plus a talk in school from author David Whiteley.

Pictured are the two students who read the most pages - Joseph Miller and Megan Bratt - who received book tokens.
