Reader Photo competition - amazing response

We asked the readers of our titles in Sussex Newspapers (North) for their favourite photograph and dozens of you responded.

Our slideshow reveals an amazing variety of pictures, from detailed artistic photos to snapshots of pets.

We will be choosing a top ten - a tough job for our judges - and giving you, the readers, the chance to vote for the one you think should win our prize of a £10 M&S voucher.

Don’t be too disappointed if you haven’t made the top ten, though, as this is a monthly competition, so send in a new photo each time and you could be our winning entry.

Readers from the West Sussex County Times, West Sussex Gazette, Mid Sussex Times, Sussex Express and Crawley Observer are all invited to take part.

Just email [email protected] with your entry (max 2MB jpeg please) and state which of our newspapers you read or our websites you visit.

We will also be printing a selection of your photos in our newspapers.

For May we are again not restricting you to a particular theme but in future months we will be looking at various topics, so keep snapping and sending in your entries.
