READER'S PICTURE: Roe deer spotted near housing estate

She said: 'These two roe deer were bouncing around the fields at the end of Landport, Lewes, yesterday morning.

'There seem to be more deer than I remember for years in the area. We've seen them a few times recently in and around the Landport woods.

'They bound off up the bank and cross the A275 up onto the hill. Maybe we need a new sign on the main road to warn of deer!'
