Recognising the best in Sussex

Michael Sutherland, of the Sussex Ox, is a finalist in the young chef of the year category

The final of the Sussex Food & Drink Awards, now in its 10th year, will take place at the Amex Stadium, Falmer, on Thursday, January 28.

Olympic gold medallist and patron of the awards Sally Gunnell OBE and Danny Pike from BBC Sussex will host  the ceremony.

Gunnell, who is looking forward to the evening, said, “I always love hosting this annual event as I am passionate about supporting our local food and drink heroes.”
