Registration open for 10k pyjama sleep walk in Haywards Heath

Walkers are being asked to put on their PJs for this year’s sleep walk to help raise the £50,000 to provide one week of care for St Peter & St James Hospice.

The 10k annual event will set off on July 12 from The Dolphin Leisure Centre on Pasture Hill Road, Haywards Heath and will wind through Lindfield before returning to The Dolphin for breakfast.

Robert Gray at Gray Hooper Halt said: “When we heard that it costs £7,200 every day to provide the specialist care and support at St Peter & St James Hospice, we really wanted to help to achieve the challenge to raise over £50,000 from this event.

“This could cover the costs of running the Hospice for a whole week! We are proud and delighted to sponsor the sleep walk for such a worthy and wonderful charity as St Peter & St James Hospice and look forward to seeing everyone there.”

Participants are encouraged to wear pyjamas on the walk to create a family friendly in the spirit of previous years.

You can enter now to support the local charity and support patients and families of those with life limiting illness during their time of need.

“We have a team from Gray Hooper Holt and we encourage other local businesses and individuals to join in the fun and take part too,” Mr Gray added.

The early bird entry fee is £12 and is open until June 9, and all other entries close on July 4.

The hospice’s 7th sleep walk is open to all ages is sponsored by Gray Hooper Holt Solicitors, Haywards Heath.
