Remembrance ceremonies will be held across Seahaven on Sunday (November 10).
In Newhaven the day starts with the service at St Michael’s Church at 9.45am.
This will be followed by a parade, which forms up in Neill’s Close next to the church at about 10.20am.
It will then march down to the Memorial Green in South Way for the two minute silence at 11am.
After this a wreath laying ceremony will take place, followed by tea, coffee and cakes at the Mencap Hall in Riverside, opposite the Memorial Green.
Peacehaven will hold its ceremony at the new War Memorial in Meridian Park.
Those taking part in the procession will meet at 10am in the car park on the A259 opposite the police station.
The march will begin at 10.30am and will proceed along Sutton Avenue towards Meridian Park.
Attending will be veterans, youth groups and local dignitaries.
Seaford’s Remembrance Service, organised by Seaford Royal British Legion branch, will take place at the War Memorial in Sutton Park Road at 10.30am with a two minute silence at 11am.
Around 30 wreaths will be laid at the war memorial by dignitaries, veterans, service personnel and youth groups at 10.40am.
The combined Seaford and Newhaven Army Cadet Force will parade.
The last post and reveille will be played and Seaford Silver Band will play at the commemoration.
A church service will follow at St Leonard’s Church in Church Street.
