The work will be carried out in phases involving carriageway and lane closures and is due to be completed, weather permitting, by the end of March.

“Sections of the A21 will be resurfaced to provide road users with smoother journeys.

“We will also be maintaining the drainage along sections to provide drivers with safe and reliable journeys by reducing the likelihood of surface water.

“We have planned the work to be carried out overnight, when we know traffic flows are lowest, and in phases to minimise the disruption.”

The first two weeks of the work will be carried out overnight, between 8pm and 6am, in various phases.
