Repairs have been made to a public toilet in Hailsham after it was vandalised in August.
Last month the Express reported how vandals had stolen a cistern lid in the disabled cubicle and a broken lock in another cubicle, just one month after the toilets were opened in North Street.
Now Hailsham Town Council has fixed the toilets which they say has cost the tax payer more than £200.
A spokesman for the council, said: “The Town Council would like to call upon nearby residents again to remain vigilant and report any future suspicious activity or wrongdoing. Thank you.”
