Reports of '˜explosion' in Eastbourne town centre
Firefighters from Eastbourne were called to reports of an explosion in The Avenue in Eastbourne last night (Monday).
A spokesperson at East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said the aerial rescue pump was sent to the scene after the call was received at 9.14pm.
“Crews went to investigate a report of an explosion but reported nothing found,” said a fire service spokesperson.
