Reserve to hold first open day of the year

The Oasis is both a nature reserve and an education centre with beautiful gardens to enjoy, a walk through ancient woodland and meerkats.

Situated within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Oasis is situated near to the village of West Hoathly and has been described by visitors as ‘one of Sussex’s best kept secrets’.

The Wildlife For All Trust who owns The Oasis also has two nature reserves in South Africa. The meerkats provide a link with Komsberg Wilderness Nature Reserve - 30,700 acres in size - where they run free. The captive-bred group at The Oasis has a large enclosure that doubles as a mini flower meadow in summer, attracting many local butterflies.
