Residents' street meeting

A STREET consultation will take place in Peacehaven on tomorrow (April 3) at 6pm.

Lewes District Council and Sussex Police are inviting residents from Collingwood Close, Trafalgar Close and the Pelham Rise area to meet them.

A police van will be parked outside 7 Duncan House in Collingwood Close which is where the meeting will take place. It will provide an opportunity for residents to voice how they feel about crime and anti-social behaviour in their area.

The event will also be an important occasion for residents to influence what happens in their neighbourhood and to find out how they can contribute to making it safer.

Representatives from both the council and the police will be on hand to explain the work the police and the local action team are involved in, including youth activities and community development.

They are scheduled to stay an hour but will remain as long as it is necessary to hear residents' concerns. Those unable to attend are urged to speak to their neighbours so they can raise any issues on their behalf.
