Residents trapped in arson attack
FOUR residents and a four-year-old girl were trapped in a London Road property after an accelerant was poured through their letter box.
Thick smoke poured into the property at 11.15pm on Sunday (March 9).
Only the quick-thinking of a male resident who dealt with the blaze using a fire extinguisher prevented it spreading.
Damage was caused to the hall-way carpet and front door but no one was hurt.
