A meeting which looked at flooding in Seaford held on Friday October 24 in the Clinton Centre was so popular with residents, many had to be turned away.

As a result there will be another meeting called Seaford Flood Defences on Friday November 28 in the large hall of the Clinton Centre in Clinton Place.

Speakers at the first flooding meeting included Seaford MP Norman Baker, who offered a national perspective, and Environment Agency Coastal Communities 2150 Project Team leader John Gower.

He demonstrated the possible impact of rises in sea level and options for adapting to such rises.
