Results for the re-run of the Seaford Town Council central ward by-election have been announced.
Isabelle Murray (Liberal Democrats) won with 370 votes and will now take up a seat on the town council.
Terry Goodman (UKIP) came second with 210 votes ahead of Sylvia Dunn (Independents for Seaford) with 207 votes, Shahariar Kureshy (Conservatives) with 193 votes and Toni Gill-De-Vito (Green Party) with 57 votes.
Cllr Murray will join Cllr Rahnuma Hayder, Cllr Penny Lower and Cllr Debbie Silvey-Adam in representing the central ward.
The vote for one seat on the central ward had to be re-run after elected candidate Gary Bedford (Conservative) did not sign his declaration of office in the required timescale, without asking for an extension.
