Thanks to a donation of material from the Ringmer branch of Chandlers Building Supplies, the Brighton and Hove Retired Greyhound Trust has been able to repair the barn at its kennels in Albourne.

Chandlers donated the timber and supplied the remainder of the materials at cost price.

The Brighton and Hove branch is an independent charity working to ensure that as many greyhounds as possible have a happy retirement. Nigel Williams, Sales Manager at the Ringmer branch of Chandlers, said: “Supporting our local community is extremely important to us and we were delighted to be able to supply the material to the charity.”
