A shop in Seaford has offered a £300 reward for information on an alleged burglary on Tuesday night.
The alleged burglar was caught on the CCTV entering The Vapour Trails e-cigarrette shop on Seaford High Street at around 1.30am on Wednesday August 12.
The CCTV footage shows a man carrying a torch wearing a hooded top, gloves, backpack and trainers. He is covering his face with his hand as he enters the shop.
A burglary was also reported at the neighbouring Sunnyside Cafe.
Vapour Trails store manager, Daniel Jenkinson, is offering a £300 reward for information which leads to an arrest and a conviction.
Mr Jenkinson, who only moved into the shop in the past three months hopes someone may recognise the person shown in the CCTV footage.
He said, “He is pretty hooded-up but maybe someone will recognise his posture or clothes.”
A silver Dell laptop worth £1,500 and around £80 of cash from the till has been reported as stolen.
The till at a neighbouring Sunnyside Cafe was also emptied.
A spokesman for Sussex police said, “Police were called to the Sunnyside Cafe in High Street, Seaford just after 6.30am on Wednesday August 12 to reports of a burglary.
“A property next door - the Vapour Trail - also had signs of a break-in. Police are investigating.”
