SUMMER SHOW: Don't forget the Ringmer Horticultural and Home Produce Society summer show tomorrow (Saturday) in the village hall. There is free entry to the show from 2pm.

ST MARY’S: Sunday services at St Mary’s, 8am Holy Communion, 10am Parish Eucharist, 6.30pm Evensong. Don’t forget the weekly Holy Communion service, every Wednesday at 9am. 
The Mother’s Union meeting on Tuesday at 7.30pm is a social with flowers. All are invited to bring a small display of flowers (either picked from the garden or purchased) to be assessed by our guest. 
Drinks and some nibbles available for all. Do come along and meet us. The Ladies Breakfast takes place on Saturday July 23, see Mavis Hathway or Joan Evett for details. 
Dates for your diaries: Saturday July 30, the Vicarage Fete with all sorts of stalls and games for everyone 2pm to 5pm and Sunday August 7, bring your bear to church, Teddy Bear Service will be followed by a picnic and games on the green noon to 2pm.

BRIDGE CLUB: At its meeting on Wednesday July 6, the result of the duplicate pairs played was: 1, Barrie Smith and Alan Grindley; 2, Sandra Dudley-Williams and Jenny Lodge; 3, Liz and Tim Owen. The club next meets in the St Mary’s room of the village hall on Wednesday at 7.30pm. Contact 814220.

JUMBLE SALE: Nevill Juvenile Bonfire Society will be holding a Jumble Sale on Saturday July 23 in the village hall. Doors open at 2pm. Come and pick up a bargain.

SPEED WATCH: The Community Speed Watch group of volunteers is looking for new members. Approved and regulated by Sussex Police and supported by the parish and district council, volunteers monitor vehicle speeds at various locations in the village. 
We need additional Ringmer residents who can spare a couple of hours per month. Can you help?
