Road closures for Goodwood Festival of Speed announced

Closures will be: New Road from the Woodcote roundabout east to the A285 Petworth Road, Westerton Crossroads north along New Barn Hill to the Pilly Green Crossroads, Woodcote roundabout north along Kennel Hill up to the Racecourse and the junction with Selhurst Park Road. This closure is only effective from 3.30pm until 7pm.

Closures will be in place from 6am until around 8pm each day and will be overseen by Sussex Police and traffic management partner SEP.

Goodwood said on occasion the closures would be lifted when traffic is considered as light. Residents of the area will have special passes to allow them through the closures but people are still urged to avoid the roads if they can.

Stagecoach bus company has already been informed that the route and collection points for its school bus will be unaffected.
