ROAD IS RE-OPENED

The Broyle, Ringmer, has re-opened to traffic in both directions.

It was closed after the explosion at the Festival Fireworks factory on Sunday, Decmeber 3.

A 40 mph speed limit has been imposed.

Chf Supt Nick Wilkinson said; "We promised that we would get the road open as soon as possible and I am delighted that we can now do so.

'There is still a major investigation on the site, into the circumstances surrounding the fire and that will continue. I would like to thank local businesses, residents and the wider community, who have been affected by the closure for their patience and understanding during a difficult time.'
