Roadworks on A27 and Gatwick M23 junctions

Road re-surfacing in the Chichester and Gatwick areas commences this week, as part of planned works across the county.

Work on the A27 between the Bognor and Portfield roundabouts will see one lane of the westbound carriageways closed overnight, between 8am and 6pm, from Monday April 18 for five nights.

Carriageways between M23 junctions 8 and 9 near Gatwick will also be closed overnight between 10pm and 4am with diversions in place.

The coastbound carriageway will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 4am, from Monday 18 April for 2 nights. The London-bound carriageway will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 4am, from Wednesday 20 April for 3 nights.

A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A22 and the A264.
