St. Mary’s Salehurst: - This Sunday 14th December is Advent 3 and Holy Communion is held in the Mission Room at 9am and then at 11am at the Church there will be the Sung Eucharist. Cannon Channer will conduct both of these services. Sunday Club will meet in the vestry during the 11am service. On Saturday afternoon (13th) at St. Mary’s, Vinehall School are holding their Carol Concert, and next week on Thursday 18th, Salehurst Primary invite parents and friends to join them for their Carol Concert at 2pm.

Robertsbridge Hall: will be holding their last Progressive Whist evening of this year on Thursday 18th starting at 7pm. All are welcome to go along and join in. The first event of next year will be on Friday 2nd January which will be Film Night starting at 7.30pm. The film is called `Boyhood` which was filmed over 12 years with the same cast. Richard Linklaters film is a ground-breaking story of growing up as seen through the eyes of a child called Mason (a breakthrough performance by Ellar Coltrane), who literally grows up before our eyes.

Robertsbridge Bonfire Society: the Society will hold its next meeting on Thursday 18th December at Robertsbridge Club starting at 8pm. The Christmas Draw tickets are still on sale at the Floral Boutique and the draw will be held on Sunday 21st December at Robertsbridge Club.

Robertsbridge has Got Talent: this is to be a great fun evening for all the family and is being held at the Church Room in Fair Lane on Friday 19th December starting at 7pm. Tickets are £5 on the door and children go in free. There will be a raffle and refreshments available during the evening. Please support the young people that are taking part in this show to make it a success. This event is in aid of the Flair Festival and the Church Room.

LADIES DARTS: We recorded our first League win last Monday at home to Ticehurst Club. Jackie Danaher, Eileen Morgan and Alice Hodges gave us a 3-2 lead after the singles but the scores were level when Carol Apps/Alice won our only doubles game. Dawn Mitchell/Carol/Eileen gave us the lead again but the visitors won the second trebles game so it was down to the last game which Steph Goldsmith/Eileen/Jackie won to give us a 6-5 win. There were high scores for Carol[105,70], Dawn[100,83], Eileen[97,88,2 x 75,70], Alice[92,86], Steph[86,77] and Jackie[83]. We are away at The White Hart in our last match before Christmas on Monday[15th] 8p.m.
