Batting first an opening partnership of 20 between Dan James(33) and Laura Davidson(6) gave us momentum but with Claire Hatter(3), Melinda Mackay(5), Di Kitson(0) and Bev Green(2) all going quickly we were struggling at 68-6 before Ian Kitson(43 not out), Jason Green(19) and Josh Lewis(27 not out) took is to 152-7 at the close. The visitors struggled against some accurate bowling and good fielding and were soon in trouble at 41-5 with Alan Apps(1-7), Claire(2-8), Bev(1-11) and Dan(1-10) the wicket takers but a mini revival saw the visitors finish their innings on 105-6 giving us a 47 run victory.
