Robetsbridge village voice

Last week I reported about the cricket safety nets at the Cricket Ground being vandalised. This week it gets even worse because there has now been a large section of netting cut out of the practise nets making them unusable.

This was done between Monday and Thursday last week and the Police have been notified. The cost of repair or renewal has now reached around the £1800.00 mark. This is just mindless behaviour and will cause many people time and effort to try and replace the much-needed nets. If you would like to help in any way with time or maybe a donation then please contact me on 880491 and I will pass you on to the right people.

Tomorrow 5th May is Saturday Market at Robertsbridge Hall and it will be open between 10am – 12 noon. There will be a variety of stalls selling everything from fresh produce, cakes, pies, craft ware to pet foods and bird feed. Or why not pop along for a coffee and a chat.
