Age Concern meets on Mondays at Robertsbridge Hall Station Road between 10.30am – 2.15pm. Seniors residing in Robertsbridge are invited to stop by for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat to see why the members look forward to and enjoy their Mondays. Whether you just want to stay for a short while or fancy a longer stay you will always be given a warm welcome.

Tonight Friday 10th January is the Robertsbridge and District Archaeological Society meeting at Robertsbridge hall starting at 7.30pm. The talk for the President of the Group, David Martin and the topic will give this evening will be `New Insight at Ore Church`. Non- members are also welcome to attend.

Thursday 16th January will be the first Progressive Whist evening of 2014. This is to start at 7pm at Robertsbridge Hall.

The Bonfire Society meeting is being held also on 16th January at Robertsbridge Club starting at 8pm.

Jumping ahead to Saturday February 8th, there is to be an indoor Boot Sale at Robertsbridge Hall. If you would like to book a table please ring 880457 in advance as this is usually a popular event and tables go quickly.

Robertsbridge Club membership is now due so please pop in and pay your subs if you are already a member or pick up a form if you would like to become a member this year.

Friday Darts : Our final league match was at The Kings Head where victory in the single darts for Guy Ballard, Richard Hawthorne, Dan Smith and David Goodsell gave us a 4-3 win and the title while Justin Hardy/Dan won the Mens Pairs and Alice Hodges/Frankie Taylor won the Ladies Pairs. There were high scores for Richard[138], Michael Stone[120], Keith Stone[100] and Dan[100]. We lost 3-2 in the pushpenny with victories for Michael Stone and Alan Apps with Alan scoring a ‘goldwatch’. Tonight we visit The Kings Head again to play against Mountfield Club ‘B’ in the Jubilee Cup 8p.m.

Football : Both games were postponed due to waterlogged pitches. Tomorrow the 1st team are without a game while the 2nd team are at home to The J.C.Tackleway II K.O. 2p.m.

Ladies Darts : On Monday[13th] we are away to The Bear 8p.m.
