Brenock O’Connor, 13, of Sackville Road, Worthing, will appear in the latest series of American fantasy drama Game of Thrones, due to air next week.

The Chatsmore Catholic High School student was flown to Iceland and Northern Ireland to shoot his parts – but his exact role is a secret.

He said: “It was mad when I found out I had got the part, I couldn’t believe it.

“I hadn’t actually ever seen it because I am too young, but I had seen it picking up so many awards and it was so exciting to think I was going to be a part of that.”

Brenock has already appeared in numerous shows, programmes and adverts.

Appearances include starring alongside Vinnie Jones in a British Heart Foundation advert, treading the boards in a UK tour of Oliver and a Noah and the Whale music video.

But Brenock said his latest role was the highlight of his short career.
