Rose Green open-air carols

More than 300 people made the latest Rose Green open air Christmas celebration a big success.

The large turnout saw carols soaring into the fine and dry night air above the community Christmas tree at the junction of Nyetimber Lane and Rose Green Road. The Aldwick Parish Council-run occasion, on December 17, began with youth groups singing carols outside the shops in Rose Green before being led by police community support officers to the tree. Music was played by the Salvation Army Band.

Singing was led by the Glenwood Ladies as well as the choir of St Thomas a' Becket Church to help to create a wonderful festive atmosphere.
