Police are appealing for witnesses after a shed on allotments off Eastern Avenue, Shoreham-by-Sea, was broken into on Sunday and again on Tuesday and a red Mantis rotovator was stolen.

PC David Slade, of the Worthing Neighbourhood Response Team, said: “This was a mean thing to do to someone who needs this piece of equipment to work with.”
