ROYAL VISIT TO LEWES AND DITCHLING

The Duchess of Cornwall is visiting Lewes and Ditchling today (May 26) as part of a series of events in East Sussex.

The wife of the Prince of Wales is to open a new wrought-iron gate to the garden of Anne of Cleves House Museum in Southover High Street.

From there she will move across town to open a new 250,000 science and arts centre at St Pancras RC Primary School.

Finally, she will travel to Ditchling to visit the village museum which contains a photograph of her as a five-year-old pupil at the old local Dumbrells School.
