RSPCA vists Eastbourne home after pictures of dog cause concern

The RSPCA responded to a concerned call about a dog in a back yard in Eastbourne today (Tuesday) after an image of him in a messy patio circulated on social media.

A spokesperson said, “We visited the address the same day to check on the dog’s welfare, and found three dogs in good body condition and health, with access to food, water and shelter.

“The back garden had a large amount of dog mess, but this was already being cleared up as we arrived.

“We have shared advice about dog care, and been reassured that this mess was due to temporary reasons, and have no reason to believe it will happen again, but if anyone does have further concerns they can call us on 0300 123 8018 or the environmental health services.”
