Mark and Helen Johnson, who have previously written songs for Comic Relief, were selected to write the official Sport Relief 2014 Schools’ Song.

They were also tasked with producing a music video, which they made with the help of staff and children at the Rustington Community Primary School, in North Lane.

The video, Step it up for Sport Relief, stars children from the school and is designed to inspire schools with fund-raising ideas for Sport Relief.

Helen Johnson, who along with husband Mark also lives in Rustington, said: “All the teachers and staff have been brilliant and largely thanks to them we have a great result.”

The Step it up for Sport Relief video can be viewed at www.outoftheark.com/SR2014.

A fully interactive whiteboard projection of the song can also be downloaded from the website.

Sport Relief takes place from March 21 to March 23.
