Rustington man killed on Christmas Day

A MURDER investigation has been launched after a Rustington man was stabbed to death in Brighton on Christmas Day.

Emergency services were called to a report of a man being stabbed in a flat in Warwick Mount, Montague Street, at 1am yesterday morning (December 25).

The 24-year-old victim from Rustington died of his injury.

A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

A spokesman said that police were still trying to establish the circumstances behind the killing but that they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.

A post-mortem examination into the man’s death was due to take place today (Friday, December 26).
