Rusty joins the Chidham Palm Sunday procession

Rusty the donkey joined the congregation of St Mary's Chidham for their Palm Sunday Procession.

Led by vicar Rev Paul Matthews and reader Colin Ottewell, they walked from Pinewood Nursing Home in Cot Lane to the church, accompanied by the piano accordion played by Mark Everson

Afterwards Rusty the donkey, from Hayling Island donkeys and children returned to Pinewood for their act of Worship.

Rev Matthews blessed Rusty in what was called a ‘fabulous morning.
