Rye Care Centre cards go on sale

This year the hospital’s charity has two unique and very contrasting cards for sale; talented local artist Virginia Ridley has painted a winter scene of ‘Simmons Quay, Rye’, priced at £3.99 per pack of 10 cards, and the internationally known local artist Richard Adams has painted ‘Rye Christmas and New Year’s Day Bathing Club’ (below), a card which is in Richard’s inimitable style, full of detail and humour.

Richard’s cards are available at £2.99 per pack of 5, and both designs can be bought from Rye Hospital reception or the Martello Bookshop in Rye.

Richard’s cards are also being sold at Adams of Rye and the Turtle Fine Art Gallery.
