Rye club tohold open air displayin the town

Chairman Carl Turner said: “We intend to have five bouncy castles and other fun inflatables, sumo suits, a band or DJ, lots of catering machines and a bar which will in effect create a small fete all of which will be supporting the Boxing Club.

“Several businesses will be present bringing loads of entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

“Other clubs coming along to take part in the show include Bexhill, Tenterden, Ashford, Folkestone, St Marys, possibly West Hill and of course Rye.

“This is our way of starting the new season hard and fast.”

The Club has been flourishing since being started by Carl last year and meets at the Boys Club on Mermaid Street.
