Rye Community Centre close to reaching the ceiling
A GREAT local effort has helped Rye Community Centre get toward reaching its £10,000 target for a much needed new ceiling.
Rye Lions stepped in and helped boost the fund by £1,000.
The Lions use the Community Centre, at Conduit Hill, to put on a free lunch for seniors in Rye and the surrounding villages.
The Community Centre Association is hoping that local businesses and other organisations which use the centre will help them reach their target.
