Rye gallery makes come-back

RYE’S Turtle Gallery is re-opening this month with a two week exhibition by ten contemporary artists,

All exhibitors are members of the Royal Society of Birmingham Artists and the majority have never showed in Rye before.

The gallery, next to the Landgate Arch, had to close abruptly in June 2011 when owner Pat Field became ill but some weeks ago, the space was offered to the RBSA and they jumped at the chance to come to Rye and display their pictures here.
