ARRCC user Helen Rudd dropped Amber a line to sa how much her condition had improved due to services supplied by the Rye based charity, which helps adults with disabilities.

The MP responded by writing to ARRCC co-ordinator Grace O’Neill and said: “I understand from Ms Rudd that she has been able to benefit from the various activities and therapeutic care treatments offered by staff at the Centre.

“It has been greatly encouraging to read of such a worthwhile service being offered and providing such wonderful support to those in our community who need it.

“I would like to express my gratitude to you and staff at the centres for providing such fantastic care within the community.

“I am very enthused at the positive response Ms Rudd provided.”

Irna Mortlock, from ARRCC, said: “Helen comes to Rye and now that we have opened at Bexhill, she attends there too.”

ARRCC has now moved from its base at Rye Memorial Care Centre to the School Creative Centre at New Road and is continuing to expand it’s services in Rother.
