Rye pub's parking plans

The Globe, in Military Road, wants to create the new spaces on scrubland adjacent to the pub, which is currently under the ownership of East Sussex County Council.

The Globe says the extra spaces would help to ease congestion on the Military Road.

The plans can be found on the Rother District Council website, where members of the public can comment on the proposals.

Rother will make a decision on the plans at a later date.
