The sign manufactured and maintained by Hannington Gilbert local electrical contractors, sits high upon the building welcoming visitors arriving from Ashford on the A259.

After a lengthy period of delay Hannington Gilbert were able to convince the Planning and Environment Department at Rother that Rye Rotary were not a commercial entity and should be allowed to erect the sign as in previous years.

They were backed by Rye Town Council, who supported the sign.

The Club will be in Market Road with their Pooh Bear display and collecting tins on various dates between now and December the 22nd.
