Rye set toRememberwar deadon Sunday

Rye will be holding its annual Remembrance Day parade and service on Sunday November 8.

The Service will be held in St Mary’s Church at 10.55 am.

This will be followed by a short service around the War Memorial where there will be the observation of a one minute silence and the laying of wreaths and crosses.

The procession will form up before the service at 10.35am at Adams in the High Street ready to process up East Street to march past the front of the Town Hall to take the Mayor’s salute at 10.40am.

Standards will enter the church at 10.55am ready for the service to begin. The congregation should enter the North door by 10.35am.
