“Plans for the day, apart from the individual group performances, will also include a barbecue and bar supplied by Jonathan Breeds at the Cinque Ports pub. But the highlight will be the last session when as many Ukuleles as possible will join together and perform a dozen songs in unison for the Big Busk”.

There will also be an attempt at a world record Kazoo and Uke rendition of Urban Spaceman.

Ian Burford, from the Experiment, confirmed “The Ukulele is a relatively easy instrument to master and with only four strings makes it simple to learn enough chords to play songs very quickly.”

There will be music for all tastes ranging from Trad Jazz to The Killers, Elvis and Amy Winehouse.
