Safety first at school

School safety zones are to be created around three sites in the Bognor Regis area.

The areas will be formed at South Bersted Primary School in Church Lane, Bartons Infant School in Romney Broadwalk in North Bersted and Downview Primary School in Felpham.

They have been included in the scheduled works programme of the county council highways department for the coming year. Each project is expected to cost 7,300.

Another safer route will be created along the footpath between the A259 and St Mary's Church in Felpham for pupils of Felpham Community College and Downview Primary School. The combined cost will be 53,000.
