Sainbury’s Horsham celebrate arrival of new mobility scooter

Store Manager Derek Boarer said “A number of stores now have this facility and we hope it will make a difference to our community helping them to have an easier shopping experience.”

Customer Mrs Rogers said: “I’ve been housebound for 18 weeks after an operation on my ankle. I’ve been relying on friends and family to get my shopping for me as I haven’t been able to get around the store. Now I can get down to Sainsbury’s and shop in my own time and feel independent again.”
