Euphoric and its manager Zoe Clark have been nominated for seven awards – ‘overall business’, ‘small business’, ‘outstanding contribution in the community’, ‘readers choice’, ‘training and development’, ‘business personality’ and ‘customer service’.

Established in 2003, Euphoric became the first salon in the area to offer ‘state-of-the-art results-driven beauty services’ and ‘salon-exclusive brands’ from Endermologie and MYscara to Environ and threading.

Jill Woolf, who nominated the salon, said Zoe and the team are ‘professional, scrupulously customer-focused, hard-working, ethical, creative and innovative.’

Euphoric’s six skilled and experienced aestheticians and skin therapists offer follow-up services to all its clients, with support and advice via e-newsletters, blogs, social media and events.

Passing on industry hints and tips, Zoe ensures each of her staff have skills of the highest standard which are updated with regular in-house training sessions.

Working closely with Northbrook College, she also helps to introduce new talent to the industry.

Last year, this engaging approach saw the salon celebrate more than 500 new customers despite the difficult economic climate.

“Hundreds of testimonials prove how well-regarded they are by clients,” said Jill.

“They make mincemeat of the view of beauty treatments being just a manicure or a massage.”

Zoe also recognises the importance of community links.

Alongside charity fundraising, Zoe initiated the ‘Key Worker Scheme’, recognising the hard work of Worthing residents by offering health workers, vets and emergency services personnel half-price treatments if appointments are available.

The salon manager is now recognised by the business community as a successful entrepreneur and small business owner.
