Salute to 100 years of Scouting
A HUNDRED helium-filled balloons were launched from the lawns of Arundel Castle to mark the centenary of Scouting.
Young people and Scout leaders from all over the district joined the Chairman of Arun District Council, Cllr Stephen Haymes, joined Arundel and Littlehampton Scouts' District Commissioner, Julie Dixon, at the launch.
The ceremony inaugurated 2007 as the centenary of the Scout movement, marking the start of global year-long celebrations.
