Sammy goes home - pictures
SAMMY the Seal, rescued from an East Worthing beach when close to death, has been returned to the sea.
He was released at Pettlevel, Hastings, by staff from Worthing And District Animal Rescue Service, who have cared for him since he was found in late September.
After some hesitant splashing, he got his sea-flippers back and glided away into the distance.
