Sanctuary Fetethis Sunday

The Barby Keel Animal Sanctuary, Freezeland Lane, Bexhill, want their Summer Fete on Sunday (August 9) 12-5pm the biggest and best ever and are appealing for everyone to join in the fun.

The Fete is the sanctuary’s main fund-raising event of the year and money raised helps cover the expenses of feeding and caring for the animals and birds that live there.

Meet the animals and browse many stalls selling a wide variety of items including toys, games, books, bric-a-brac, jewellery, accessories, home grown plants and produce, dvds, cds, pet accessories and equipment. There’s a Grand Prize Raffle, family games, live music, and refreshments. Entry £2 (children free). Free minibuses run continuously from Little Common Roundabout, Bexhill Town Hall and Sidley car park from 11.30am. Free Parking.
